Rescheduling the Plan

You move Timenow to Reschedule the project plan. Timenow is the earliest possible time to schedule unfinished work. Enter a new Timenow date triggers Safran Planner to recalculate the schedule based on the new date.

Set and adjust timenow

Safran Planner allows updating the Current Schedule to be part of the rescheduling process. Checking the Update checkbox will refresh the current dates for the schedule based on the Timenow change. You may restrict updating the current plan by using a filter or selecting the activities to update in the Barchart Editor.

The Move Plan feature recalculates both the early start and finish dates, but it will also recalculate date constraints such as Start No Earlier Than, Start No Later Than, Finish No Earlier Than, and Finish No Later Than. The date constraints move by the same number of days as the difference between the previous and the new Timenow.

Set Comparison Dates

The Set Comparison Dates feature allows you to assign Comparison dates in a structured way by setting a pair of dates. Use this feature to set Baseline and Current dates based on your Live plan, or use this feature to save a copy of the dates from one set of date fields to any date userfield.

How to set comparison dates for Baselines or Current Schedules

The Set Comparison Dates feature allows clearing both Current and Baseline dates.

To update a subset of activities, select them in the Barchart Editor or use a Filter.

Organizer
