SP HOME Editing Define Sort

Select the field that matches your sorting criteria and drag it across to the Sort By column, then specify ascending or descending order.
You can add multiple fields as sorting criteria and adjust their order in the sort-by list to determine the sort order.
Click OK. Safran has now rearranged the display to match your sort criteria.
The ‘Always Sort Groups Alphabetically by ID’ checkbox allows you to order your grouped data in ascending order.

Tip

At the top of the window, you will find a Search field. On older versions, only Find was available. On newer versions you will see that you can use either "Begins with" or "Containing.

By using Beginning with Baseline you will find this list:

By using Containing Baseline you will get at least one more hit in your list:

Another useful tip is to write (Reference and you will then see all Reference fields where values are in use in your active Project.
Notice how the Reference fields are sorted in alphabetical order from the label in Userfield Set.
This is very useful when you know that you are looking for a Reference field but you cannot remember the name.
SP Define Sort Containing Reference

This works the same on other userfields too, for example Text, simly write (Text and it will narrow down your search:
